Elisabeth Beckwitt

Elisabeth Beckwitt

Elisabeth Beckwitt released her song "One More" as a part of her first full-length album, "Then We Do," in December 2016.  Wonderfully composed and beautifully produced, "One More" stands out as it's own work of art on the album.  Written almost a year-and-a-half ago, it tells a story unique to Elisabeth and those who have struggled with addiction. Captivating the listener with the instrumental simplicity of just voice and keys (and beautifully raw lyrics), "One More" has an honesty that many people don't want to admit to.

True to the songs sparse and emotionally driven nature, Elisabeth created a music video concept that captures the weight of the internal struggle behind addiction.  The video uses one shot, following dancer Therese Ronco as she flows through a large open room, seamlessly in and out of the light and shadow cast by sun through wide and revealing windows.

"That song is so meaningful to me.  It was such an emotional process to write it.  While it was so hard, it came out really easily.  I think it was something that I needed to write to help me in my healing process.  It was really beautiful to see what she (Therese Ronco) did with it and how much more she brought it to life."

Elisabeth recently completed a tour to promote "One More," in which she played 14 shows in 10 cities over a three-month period (with roughly 100 hours of driving).  With the help of manager, Jason Chambliss (Django), the tour was a huge success for this up-and-coming artist.  She gained many new fans who now support her by walking through their hometowns wearing her t-shirts, showing off her posters, and sporting buttons specifically designed for "One More."  Elisabeth Beckwitt has new music and videos in the works and future tour dates available that you can find on Facebook,  Instagram, and her website.  Follow her there to support this singer-songwriter's dream, and make sure to watch her video for "One More" below.

"That's what the song is about for me.  To show people that you're never really alone...even in your loneliest moments."
