Christine Harazim Founder/CEO Christine Harazim is a singer/songwriter who graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2014.  The fall after graduation, she rushed to Nashville under the pretense that Nashville is "Music City."  She prepared herself to meet new artists and join the grind to become a singer/songwriter outside of the realm of Country music.  A few years in, working on Broadway as a server, she had the realization that she hadn't met many non-country artists.  She felt no sense of community in that sense and had little luck in finding local publications that were passionate about other genres besides Country.  Instead of being defeated, she decided to create what she needed from Nashville.   Founding Nashville Offbeat in April of 2017, this music enthusiast set out on a mission to create quality content for local artists to share and promote their music, as well as a community that artists could learn from,  be a part of, and draw inspiration from.  She believes that small wins create big change when you're an independent artist and loves providing an outlet to help others grow through her work with the Nashville community of musicians going against the musical grain.

Riley Watson Writer (Music) Riley Watson is an all-around audio geek and music lover. Born and raised in Abilene, TX, Riley knew very little about the music industry before he dove into music business and audio production courses at Belmont University. Riley has been writing for Nashville Offbeat since January 2018. With a love for locally sourced, raw music, Riley is constantly listening to local talent while hunched over his computer in a coffee shop or rock climbing at a local gym. When he isn’t one of those two places, it’s a good bet he is at a local show. Riley is a firm believer in cultivating fresh talent and musical culture here in Nashville. If you are interested on hearing what Riley is listening to, give a follow to his Spotify playlist,  Nashville Noise  which includes some of his favorite Nashville-based musicians.

Madison Peper Writer (Music) Madison Pepper goes by her last name because it is cool. She is an alternative rock musician from Chicago that hopes to inspire cynicism and sarcasm in the lovely people of the south and - one day - the world. After studying Entertainment Industry and Economics, she now works in radio by day and screams about how awesome and terrifying and beautiful and painful life is at night with her Danelectro and pure determination. Under the name Pepper Said she has released a music video and single, "Soap", and plays frequently in Nashville and Chicago. In 2015, she wrote for the magazine,  Eyes & Ears,  and loves getting to brag on the plethora of talent in this town. Pepper loves Chicago but is sure that Nashville is home because of the awesome community of creatives, and human beings in general. She is so excited to support that community even more with Nashville Offbeat.
